The spiral staircase was exactly as pictured and described.The quality is also exactly as described.My contractor assembled, and said the instructions were necessary and adequate.If it's not clear in the description, the smaller balusters must be cut to length, this requires... the ability to safely and accurately cut metal.Only issue is, the assembly instructions were not in the package, which was complicated because the worksite has no internet or phone service.read more

Stairs are made well, if I hade to do it again I’d make them wider. Spiral stair cases are a younger persons world. There a little hard to transverse being for a 42” hole in the floor to the basement…

went together easy in 2 days hardest part was the hand rales straightening and attaching to the spindles, the square headed screws. we went thru every square driver bits we could find. but looks good.

The stairs arrived as ordered and on the schedule Paragon provided. They look good and the homeowners are happy with the product. By and large the installation went well, the only trouble we had was the machining of the couplings to tie the center column together. The threads... were extremely tight and it required a pipe wrench and vise that could handle 3" pipe to tighten.read more

We were going to go to Home Depot to purchase our spiral stairs because of the price difference but decided to talk to Paragon first before we our decision. So glad we did. What a difference. Danielle at Paragon talk with us in length about our project and no question was... too simple or too complicated to ask that she couldn’t answer for us. She sent us pictures and diagrams that left us feeling very comfortable in making a decision on exactly what we wanted. In addition, we ended up paying less than the Home Depot price because she found that our circumstance didn’t require some of the extra stuff that was just included in what Home Depot offered. We also feel better that Paragon’s products are American made and that we can call with any questions and have someone that can talk us through our project if needed.We haven’t started our project yet but will post pictures and comments after it’s done.read more

I installed a set of spiral stairs from Paragon last month. 90" from top to bottom. 2 man crew did it in one day and it turned out fantastic. Highly recommend all aspects of this company! From first speaking with customer service to receiving the shipment to installing the stairs! Bravo! The gentleman who helped with the order was great. Customer service when I had a question about the hole size in the floor was... very helpful. Installation was great. It took a little bit to get our rhythm with leveling and aligning the stairs, but after figuring it out, it was smooth and easy. My brother in law was the only help I used and it was easy. The stairs are about half installed and I would buy from Paragon again but, there are a few things that we did wrong due to somewhat overly generic instructions and, I ended up having to do a lot of the install myself where typically the Hispanic guys I have hired would do this.... No instructions in Spanish however. That would make a big difference. The product overall feels pretty substantial and we will buy more of these in the future.read more

I dealt with Brian Albany. So the process took a year but my fault as I spoke with him 9 months previous and designed the steps and had it all ready but I had a life hiccup (flooding) and it held me up. He reached out a few times in the 9 months. However it wasn't shortly after... he reached out the last time I finished the deal. 2 mirrored spiral stairs were sent from my home state of PA to Texas. Got here before our estimated delivery date and there great quality and we're not to bad to assemble. 1st one you learned and 2nd set was easy. I recommend using these guys and Brian for any of your indoor or out door stairs!read more

Our stairs were delivered very timely, and the install was pretty easy and straight forward. We installed them on our back deck. All of our questions about installing the staircase were answered, and the only additional materials we needed were some lag bolds for the concrete... base, which was explained in the directions. Overall, great buy. I'd do it again in a second if I had another place that needed stairs.read more

We needed stairs to give access to the basement. The original stairs in our home were taken out by the previous owners. Where the stairs were is now a dining space near the kitchen. Paragon Stairs was perfect for us and allowed to customize the stairs to best suit the situation.... I was able to get them installed myself with very little help. The directions seemed complete and not hard to follow, and the stairs are perfect for our tiny, tiny-house space. Just what we needed.Now, you need make (3 sided) fitted rubber stair caps as a possible purchase option to fit over each tread, to protect them and the people... below 🙂read more

I had an overwhelmingly good experience, and this would have been an 5-star review, except for 2 small issues.1. Although the team at Paragon did an amazing job rushing the staircase out to arrive in time to be installed for my daughter’s wedding reception, their computer... system never was updated with the new shipping time. So, i was worried that it wouldnt make it. It did, they were awesome, but they wouldnt put it in writing, which made me super nervous.2. The installation is not as easy as they say it is. Bending the handrail is not quick and easy. It took a very experienced group of carpenters 2 full days to install. Definitely not 3 hours. With enough repetition, i think they could get it down to 8-9 hours.Everything else was fantastic. Scott Lyle (sales rep) was great to work with.I have no reservations in recommending Paragon, as long as you’re prepared for the arduous install process.read more
