Stringers are custom cut to match the exact height dimensions of your project.
Finish
If your stair is going indoors, select Steel. If your stair is going outdoors, select Galvanized.
Tread
Tread Type

The stairs are about half installed and I would buy from Paragon again but, there are a few things that we did wrong due to somewhat overly generic instructions and, I ended up having to do a lot of the install myself where typically the Hispanic guys I have hired would do this.... No instructions in Spanish however. That would make a big difference. The product overall feels pretty substantial and we will buy more of these in the future.read more

I dealt with Brian Albany. So the process took a year but my fault as I spoke with him 9 months previous and designed the steps and had it all ready but I had a life hiccup (flooding) and it held me up. He reached out a few times in the 9 months. However it wasn't shortly after... he reached out the last time I finished the deal. 2 mirrored spiral stairs were sent from my home state of PA to Texas. Got here before our estimated delivery date and there great quality and we're not to bad to assemble. 1st one you learned and 2nd set was easy. I recommend using these guys and Brian for any of your indoor or out door stairs!read more

Our stairs were delivered very timely, and the install was pretty easy and straight forward. We installed them on our back deck. All of our questions about installing the staircase were answered, and the only additional materials we needed were some lag bolds for the concrete... base, which was explained in the directions. We needed stairs to give access to the basement. The original stairs in our home were taken out by the previous owners. Where the stairs were is now a dining space near the kitchen. I had an overwhelmingly good experience, and this would have been an 5-star review, except for 2 small issues.1. Although the team at Paragon did an amazing job rushing the staircase out to arrive in time to be installed for my daughter’s wedding reception, their computer... system never was updated with the new shipping time. So, i was worried that it wouldnt make it. It did, they were awesome, but they wouldnt put it in writing, which made me super nervous.2. The installation is not as easy as they say it is. Bending the handrail is not quick and easy. It took a very experienced group of carpenters 2 full days to install. Definitely not 3 hours. With enough repetition, i think they could get it down to 8-9 hours.Everything else was fantastic. Scott Lyle (sales rep) was great to work with.I have no reservations in recommending Paragon, as long as you’re prepared for the arduous install process.read more

I had difficult install to try and continue a set of stairs down one flight below a set that was 30 years old. Previous builder messed up opening and couldn’t figure out what to do. The owner waited 14 months with no stairs and then contacted me. I contacted Paragon and Danielle... immediately responded to my inquiry. She wasn’t sure it could be done from the pictures of mess I sent her, but after a few discussions we came up with a plan. I ordered the stair unit with some extra parts also. The shipping was fast. I received everything I ordered with no damaged parts. Paragon stairs made the ordering process easy! We had a unique situation, in that the spiral staircase could not be delivered directly to the install site (island home with ferry schedules to consider). And because we had to transport our staircase for one more “leg” of a trip,... we didn’t unbox the staircase upon delivery. We ultimately found that one of the stair treads had damage to the powder coating/paint.Having a few more details ahead of time- specific to our model of staircase would have been helpful (we needed tools: a couple different size drill bits, a hack saw, socket wrenches- which was only an “issue” since we were also having to transport all of our tools to the island install) and I had a slight heart attack thinking that the staircase was delivered without a central post. Ultimately, all pieces of our 4’6” spiral shipped in one box!read more

I ordered a custom black powder coated spiral staircase for a customers deck. The ordering process was great and it was shipped sooner than expected. When I went to start assembling the first treads onto the center column it wouldn’t go on. I ending up taking a file and an... abrasive wheel on a drill to a fat weld. I then tried to put the first tread on and still wouldn’t go on. I noticed the inside part that slips on pipe was powder coated which I knew that was the issue. I waisted 4 hours trying to work on this stuff. So after grinding the center pipe down everything starting going together. Starting messing with the metal railing and that was not an easy task at all. Made a mistake bending it and had to get another one sent out. We went with the black composite one the second time around and had no issues installing it or getting it shipped out pretty fast with no extra charge. I believe the powder coating was the reasoning for issues with assembly on the $8500 spiral staircase. The job ended up taking me about 3 days to assemble with one other guy. The customer was happy so I was happy in the end. The customer loves there new composite deck with spiral staircase! The pricing was pretty competitive to another place I checked out also.read more

I had the galvanized steel spiral shipped to me. Packaging was great but I saw one of the upper guard rails had slipped by quality control and had a very rough and dangerous sharp finish that could slice your hand open. Upon reporting this to the company they fabricated a new... replacement part and shipped it to me no cost, no hassle. Now I'm enjoying my purchase!read more
