Floating Stair Creates Easy Access to Lawrence’s Rooftop Deck
The Challenge
While searching for a unique stair for his guests to take to the rooftop deck, Lawrence looked at over a hundred different options. He was looking for something that felt more open and whimsical, while still being super sturdy and safe. That is when he came across Paragon’s floating stairs. He knew these would give him the look he was looking for while also providing safe access to the roof.
The Process
Lawrence was able to work with a designer at Paragon, they helped him take the right measurements, and from there everything was super easy. They were able to design the exact stair that he was looking for then shipped it right to his home. From there the install was simple and the stairs were up and functional fairly quickly.
The Staircase Design
Paragon’s stair designers helped Lawrence narrow down his search for the perfect stair to our Welded Mono Stringer. The Red Oak treads and platform paired with a black powder coated finish stringer are a timeless design combination. Lawrence also added riser bars to the treads to ensure building code compliance and maximum safety on his way to the rooftop deck.
The Results
These Paragon floating stairs created the best entrance way to Lawrence’s rooftop deck. Once you hit the second floor of his home, the stairs switch over from his traditional stairs to his floating stairs and offer and unique experience while entering the rooftop.
